A sister shop of “Flip Up!” named “Cheer Up!” opened on March 28th in Okazaki, Kyoto. The bakers have learned to make bread at Flip Up! and they sell the same bread here. Also, Flip Up! supervises Cheer Up! to serve delicious bread. At Cheer Up! they sell coffee, too, and you can eat in the store, but it is also a good idea to eat in Okazaki Park on a sunny day. It is a beautiful place.
I went to Cheer Up! on March 30th. There I saw some fans of Flip Up! and actually, I was one of them. I thought Cheer Up! was not a very big store, but it was neat and had a cozy atmosphere, just like Flip Up!
All bread looked tasty, but unfortunately, when I went there around 3:00 p.m, many kinds of bread had already sold out. I realized how popular Cheer Up! already was.
I bought some bread and tried them outside. The ingredients such as flour and chocolate really reminded me of Flip Up! and I was happy.
The next day I went to Flip Up! and found the same bread that I bought at Cheer Up! and yes, the taste was perfectly the same.
The Okazaki area has many attractive places to visit, such as Heian-jingu Shrine, Nanzen-ji Temple, Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art and Kyoto City Zoo. There are many people in the area on weekends, so I think this new bakery will be more famous soon.
